Lucking & Clark Structural Engineers were appointed by BSKyB to provide advice on acceptable loading on the existing stage of Shoreditch Town Hall and design of temporary spreaders to support additional loads on the stage from new equipment and large screens for the Hairspray TV series launch party.

In addition, the existing steel roof trusses were checked for new temporary loading from stage trusses which were hung from the roof at one end.
