Bridge Place, London SW1

This project involved the total refurbishment of an existing ten storey building that was constructed in 1965. The refurbishment included extensive structural alterations including forming of new service risers, extending an existing lift shaft to serve the basement, alterations to the stair core, part removal of the mezzanine floor and installation of roof plant grillages and cleaning cradles.

A three storey extension which acts as a circulation area was constructed to the front of the building. This is steel framed with composite floor slabs. The extension is clad with a combination of curtain walling and masonry.

This was a design and build contract.
