Borough Market

L+C were appointed to develop and complete the structural steelwork and glazing design of three new market buildings for Borough Market in Southwark. These buildings are arranged around the new railway viaduct and feature bridge over Borough High Street.  All three buildings have novel glazing designs, particularly the main market building with overlapping glass panels tilted in the vertical and horizontal planes and secured by means of stainless steel clamps.
