Collins Theatre

Lucking & Clark LLP were appointed by Eiffel, the specialist contractor, to design and detail an unusual glass roof over the courtyard entrance of the new subterranean Collins Theatre in Islington.

The structure comprises a steel frame of non-standard sections and triangular glass panels (all different). There is a central rotating ventilator of approximately 3 metres diameter.

Completed in 2007.
