Lucking & Clark were appointed by Eiffel, the architectural steel and glass alliance-contractor, to carry out structural design and detailing of several special structures as part of the development of a new headquarters building for Astra Zeneca.
The steel and glass structures include an entrance façade and atrium, a 100 metre long linking atrium, a scenic lift shaft, a two storey hanging meeting room, six link bridges with glass decks and balustrades, and various stairs and balustrades.
The architect's perspective above shows the steps leading up to the entrance atrium.
