L+C provided consultancy services for the design of structural permanent works on this project, which included a complete refurbishment of the existing 5 storey house and forming a new rear single storey basement with a footprint over half of the existing garden. The basement was constructed using contiguous perimeter pile walls in a ‘top-down’ construction with reinforced concrete walls and slabs.
