leke.gjinali@lcengineers.co.ukLekë Gjinali has worked in the Engineering industry since graduating in 1998. Prior to that, he also worked as a Junior Engineer at Waterman Partnership in a student internship in 1996. From 1998 to 2001 he worked for Richard Jackson Partnership as a Graduate Engineer before leaving for Campbell Reith Hill.
In 2002 he moved to Benaim Consulting Engineers and in 2003 Lekë joined Martin Stockley Associates as a Senior Engineer where he was later promoted to an Associate in 2005. In 2005 he completed the Institution of Structural Engineers Part 3 Chartered exam with a top ten result.
Lekë joined L+C as an Associate in May 2008 and became a Partner in April 2013. Based in London, Lekë has worked on a variety of projects in both the public and commercial sectors and he has been responsible for the delivery of a number of large projects.
Some of Lekë’s projects prior to joining L+C include:
Refurbishment of a 1926 Austin Reed Store in London’s Regent Street.
Award winning school of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies project (SSEES), Taviton Street for the University College of London.
Greengate Manchester, structural design of 45 and 26 storey Towers.

Bouverie House - £8m office refurbishment project, Fleet Street.
Hoares Bank - £6m office refurbishment project, Fleet Street.
Camden Town Hall Assembly Hall – Feasibility study for a £10m refurbishment works.
Marcol House – Facade retention design for a Regent Street building.
Marble Arch House – Temporary works design for a £35m refurbishment and new build works.
Tregunter Road – Permanent works design for a new five storey house in Chelsea with a two storey basement including a swimming pool.
